It is Friday and usually it is Thursday and you know what that means and the ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. We have entered a new era for All Elite Wrestling. It has been dubbed the “Rated R Era.” Last week AEW saw a nice spike in viewership and Tony Khan was looking to carry those numbers into this week. It is time to dive into this week’s ratings to see how the show did.
AEW Dynamite Sees Viewership and Demo Dip
AEW Dynamite was live from Philadelphia, PA and boy it did not disappoint. Sting came out with Darby Allin and was surprised by Ric Flair. Yes, Ric Flair is in AEW. This brought out Christian Cage, who is one of the best heels in the business. MJF and Juice Robinson had a solid match for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Kenny Omega challenged MJF this Saturday to an AEW World Title Match on Collision. Not to mention we saw Okada show up on AEW Dynamite to partner with Orange Cassidy to take on the BCC.
Then of course we have one of the best characters in the business Toni Storm giving us her life in pictures. She announced her Homecoming when she will battle for the AEW Women’s Title at Full Gear.
AEW Collision saw a rise in their numbers and hopes for a bigger number this weekend as the college football slate is down.
The October 25th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 774,000 people and did a .24 in the 18-49 demo.

The viewership and demo were down from last week. This is the worst total viewership for Dynamite in its normal time slot since June 2022.
As reported by Sports TVRatings, Dynamite was 7th on cable as there was major competition from the NBA returning.
Again everyone is going to point to NXT on Tuesday and say look what is happening to AEW. Let’s stop that because NXT did a similar number to AEW because of the NBA and Game 7 in the NLCS.
AEW Dynamite is in a good place. The numbers are what the numbers are and they are in their zone. Hopefully, you see them hit the million mark again. That is a nice number to shoot for.
