It is Thursday and you know what that means and the ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. We have entered a new era for All Elite Wrestling. It has been dubbed the “Rated R Era.” The build towards World End is ongoing with the Continental Classic on AEW Dynamite and Collision. It was another excellent show. Let’s dive into this week’s rating to see how the show did.
AEW Dynamite In Range For Viewership
AEW Dynamite was live in Dallas, Texas as the Von Erich’s returned to television. It was the special Winter is Coming episode of Dynamite. The card featured several Continental Classic matches including the main event between Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland. That was a heck of a main event. Go check it out.
All the matches on the card were great. Brody King and Andrade was hard hitting. Rush and Jay Lethal another solid match not to mention Mark Briscoe he can go toe-to-toe with one of the best in Jay White.
There was a great segment involving Samoa Joe and Hangman Page. Not to mention Page was fighting Roderick Strong right after. There was no MJF on the show. Again fueling the speculation that MJF is under the Devil mask. At the end of the show we saw Hangman Adam Page get beat up by the Devil’s henchmen and the Devil appear as Page was power bombed through a car.
And course we heard from the Golden Jets of Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. They will take on Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Worlds End.
The December 13th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed 845,000 people and did a .30 in the 18-49 demo.

The viewership and demo were up from the previous week. This was the best demo AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on October 17th. AEW Dynamite is in a good place. The numbers are what the numbers are and they are in their zone. The company has it hard core audience. That is what they will get. Maybe one day they hit the million mark again. But then again TV numbers are down year over year.
