It is Thursday and you know what that means and the ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. We have entered a new era for All Elite Wrestling. It has been dubbed the “Rated R Era.” It was another jam-packed edition of AEW Dynamite. MJF’s storylines took centerstage along with Orange Cassidy, Jon Moxley, and Swerve Strickland. It is time to dive into this week’s ratings to see how the show did.
AEW Dynamite Back To Normal Numbers
AEW Dynamite was live in Portland, Oregon. Again the show was centered around MJF. He had another title match this time against Daniel Garcia. There are more contenders waiting in the wings for MJF including Samoa Joe, Wardlow, and Jay White. Not to mention the Devil and his henchmen showed up again attacking those close to MJF.
In addition to MJF storylines, Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley cut great promos about the International Title match at Full Gear. AEW also set up a tag team match with Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega taking on the Young Bucks. Also, Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida had a great promo segment to set up their match. In addition, we saw Samoa Joe vacate the ROH Television Title after his win against Keith Lee and Jay White, Swerve Strickland took on Penta and Jay White took on Mark Briscoe in the main event.
Full Gear is shaping up to be a good PPV in a couple of weeks. Not to mention we saw Sting wrestle in Portland for the second time in his legendary career.
The November 8th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 804,000 people and did a .27 in the 18-49 demo.

The viewership and demo were down from the previous week. As reported by Sports TVRatings, Dynamite was 5th on cable as there was competition from the NBA returning after a night off.
AEW Dynamite is in a good place. The numbers are what the numbers are and they are in their zone. Hopefully, you see them hit the million mark again. That is a nice number to shoot for.
