It’s Thursday and you know what that means… the ratings are out for another edition of AEW Dynamite. And this time they are for AEW Dynamite Grand Slam featuring Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson
AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Tops The Charts
This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite was live from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NY. This show was stacked card from top to bottom. The action was non-stop from start to finish. Many people wondered how this PPV-style card was going to do on network television. Well, let’s find out.
AEW Dynamite last night on TNT was watched by 1,273,000 viewers on average, incl. 627,000 aged 18 to 49 (0.48 demo rating).
That’s just short of WWE Raw’s 0.49 demo rating this week, ending Dynamite’s 2-week run ahead of Raw.

This week’s edition of Dynamite drew 1,273,000 viewers on cable including a .48 in the 18 to 49 demo. Though it did not beat Raw in the demo, the show was number one on cable again and it was not even close. The next best show was 24 percent lower than Dynamite on the charts. AEW Dynamite Grand Slam was the third-highest Dynamite in both total viewership and in the 18-49 demo. The top two shows are the debut episode back on October 2nd, 2019 and the September 8th, 2021 post-All-Out show.
The show featured the epic clash between Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson, which stole the show and had a great ending. In addition, Dr. Britt Baker defended the AEW Women’s World Title in the main event against Ruby Soho. In addition CM Punk did an interview, MJF took on Brian Pillman Jr., Cody Rhodes battled Malakai Black and FTR fought Sting and Darby Allin.
While the number is a little disappointing if you break down everything else AEW Dynamite Grand Slam was a success.
