It is Thursday and you know what that means the ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. AEW is building toward ALL-In at Wembley Stadium with several more matches announced for the show. This was the go-home show for the PPV on Sunday. This was Fyter Fest. This was a really good show.
AEW Dynamite Number One
AEW Dynamite was live in Duluth, GA. There were a lot of good matches and segments. Some head-scratching ones as well. Again Dynamite does not flow as well as Collision. We also saw some returns this week of wrestlers we had not seen in a while. The show was bookended by tag team action. In the first match we saw the Golden Elite in action, while in the main event, Aussie Open defended their ROH Tag Team titles.

There was hype around FTR and the Young Bucks III match at Wembley Stadium. Also, we saw the contract signing of Will Ospreay versus Chris Jericho. Ospreay was on fire on the mic. Of course, Jon Moxley was in action against Rey Fenix, which brought out Orange Cassidy, Best Friends, Eddie Kingston, Blackpool Combat Club and the returning Santana and Ortiz.
A lot of the people are waiting for the MJF-Adam Cole split. When will we get the slip? Will it be in Zero Hour against Aussie Open to set up the main event? Possibly. Will Adam Cole join the Kingdom? The way this story is being told, Zero Hour is going to be fun.
The August 23rd edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 870,000 people and did a .32 in the 18-49 demo.

The viewership was only down by 4,000 viewers from the previous week, while the demo was the same. According to SpoilerTV, the show was number one on cable for the third week in a row. AEW Dynamite continues to be in its normal range between 800k and 900k. Solid numbers for this show. There are always ebbs and flows to each week. Considering this was a weird show, this is a solid number. Again this is despite what some say about how they handle their business.
Again we look at year-to-year numbers AEW is in a good place. Like the viewership number, the demo was in the range of the previous 10-week demo numbers. Overall, AEW Dynamite is in a good place. So is Collision.
Unfortunately, Showbuzzdaily is no longer available thus we will have to go someplace else for the charts.
