The best storyline in professional wrestling is The Bloodline. And after Wrestlemania 40 things got interesting heading into Night of Champions when Roman Reigns said that Jimmy and Jey Uso would not get another shot at the tag team titles. There Jimmy Uso betrayed Roman Reigns kicking him in the face.
With Jey Uso turned, he decided to join his brother Jimmy. The Usos kicked themselves out of the Bloodline after Night of Champions to set up the Bloodline Civil War at Money in the Bank. For the first time in three and a half years, Reigns was pinned by the man he feuded with before the family reunited. Main event Jey Uso has taken himself to another level and could be the man to dethrone the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion.

For Roman Reigns the Bloodline had been intact for almost two years now. However, there were little cracks along the way. You can see what the Tribal Chief built is coming undone because the power got to him. No longer could he control Sami Zayn. No longer can he control the Usos. And where does Solo Sikoa the Street Champ fall into place?

Roman is trying to hold on to the Bloodline with each passing day. Even though he is the champion of the world and the storyline is intriguing, imagine what would it be without Reigns having the title. It feels like Roman Reigns is turning babyface with the face him and Solo are interacting though you wouldn’t know it at Money in the Bank. Though one could argue, that WWE is setting up Sikoa to outgrow the Bllodline even though he betrayed his brothers.
Reigns entered the 02 arena to a chorus of boos and other chants by the crowd who were jacked up for the main event. Even the crowd in London was cheering for Solo, who the Usos turned into a babyface and maybe the new leader of the Bloodline.
This was a grueling match. WWE really does the family storyline so well. Just go back to the Hart Foundation when Owen and Bret split and reunited in 1997 so good. The Usos, Reigns, and Sikoa went at it from the opening bell.
Throughout the whole match, the Usos were looking to get the pin on Reigns. WWE was really playing it up that Reigns had not gotten pinned in three years on the go-home edition of Smackdown before the PPV.
This was a back-and-forth affair as Reigns appeared to close in on another main event victory. He doubled stacked the Usos after hitting the spear. The referee counted 1, 2, and then kick out. Solo tried to put Jimmy through a table to end him, but he missed and crashed through the table instead. Then Jey and Roman exchanged moves with Roman hitting Jey with a spear for a two count. Jimmy and Jey Uso hit a double super kick on Reigns. Jey flew off the top rope for the big splash to get the 1, 2, 3.
As Jey Uso predicted he was going to pin Roman Reigns. And is this his moment or will get another shot to pin Reigns for the titles. That is the plan right now. With his victory in the Bloodline Civil War, Jey Uso earned a shot at Roman Reigns again for the title at WWE Summerslam.
The way WWE has woven this story to come full circle is really incredible. But for the first time in a decade Jey Uso pinned Roman Reigns live on WWE TV. And for the first time in three years, Reigns was pinned. It shows what a good storyline can do for your programming.
The Usos predicted they were going to win the Bloodline Civil War and did just so. Main Event Jey Uso is ready for his next singles run and he hopes to feud with his brother Jimmy one day too. But for now, the Usos are the Ones.
