WWE has cinematic drama with the Bloodline storyline. At Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, Jimmy Uso finally turned on Roman Reigns costing him and Solo Sikoa the tag team titles.
Many thought it would be it was going to be Jey Uso, who was at odds with Roman Reigns since the Bloodline storyline began several years ago. But instead, it was Jimmy. He super-kicked Roman not once but twice. Thus allowing Sami Zayn and Kevin Owns to retain the undisputed tag team titles.

Many wondered how the Bloodline storyline was going to play out after Roman retained the Undisputed Universal Championship at Wrestlemania. At that event where The Usos lost the tag team titles to Zayn and Owens. They had a chance to regain the gold on an episode of Smackdown prior to Backlash but came up short.
Even at Backlash, we saw the cracks in the armour of the Bloodline with the Usos and Solo Sikoa at odds. Though they were able to win the match, there were points where it looked like Solo was going to turn on the Usos.
Once it was announced by the “Wiseman” Paul Heyman that it was going to be Roman and Solo getting the tag team title shot and not the Usos, you could see the looks on their faces they were not happy. They felt it was their shot to regain the titles. However, in the eyes of the Tribal Chief, they had failed too many times. He needed to solve the Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn problem himself.
Things boiled over the final episode of Smackdown prior to Night of Champions. On the KO Show, Kevin Owens goaded Jimmy Uso into making the mistake of referring to himself as “The Tribal Chief” when it comes to The Usos.

Roman Reigns soon emerged to admonish Jimmy and Jey. After exchanging words with Zayn, Owens struck the Head of the Table with a Stunner. In response, The Usos began to brawl with Zayn and Owens before Solo Sikoa emerged to take out both of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions with the Samoan Spike.
After Reigns blasted Zayn with the Spear, he demanded Jimmy Uso give him the Tag Team Titles. After Jimmy hesitated, Jey took the championships from his brother and handed them to The Tribal Chief. As the group celebrates with Roman lifting both sets of titles, you can see Jimmy in the corner not wanting to partake and playing his next move.
The crowd was hot for Zayn and Owens. It was a good main event to close the show. There was a lot of back and forth with great heel work from Reigns and Sikoa. With Reigns knocked out on the outside, the Usos showed up to help the family. They take care of Owens, but they miss the superkick on Zayn and hit Sikoa as Roman wakes up to see it.
Roman was not happy to see them at all and even more angry to see them superkick Solo. He piefaces Jimmy as Jey tries to hold him back by telling Roman they are here to help but he is having none of that. He then piecefaces Jey and tells him there ain’t no Day One anymore! And out of nowhere Jimmy Uso Superkicks Roman Reigns. The turn has started.
Jimmy Uso superkicks Roman again. Jey wants to check on him, but Jimmy gets him out of the ring as Jey remains shell-shocked by what he just saw.
KO and Sami get the pin on Solo as the Usos look up from the ramp. Roman comes to and sees Sami and Owens celebrating and knows the Bloodline is truly falling apart.
(Quick Note here how much better would this have been if Roman had lost the World Title and was looking to regain championship glory to reestablish himself).
There have also been little cracks in the armour between Roman and Solo. Reigns bumped into Solo and backed down by saying his bad. The story is coming full circle when Reigns first won the title. While the story is interesting, the question is now, who challenges or takes the title off of Reigns to truly destroy the Bloodline?
It is Jey? It is Jimmy or is it Solo?
What a main event to a great show as WWE has cinematic drama with the Bloodline.
