AEW’s Double or Nothing is this Sunday, May 28th in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena. Along with now All-In this year, usually ALL-OUT, Double or Nothing is one of their marquee PPVs. This year the main event features the four pillars of AEW for the AEW World Title.
Regardless of what you think of the build, these four men headlining this event are a glimpse into the future of AEW. The promo work and in-ring work have been good. The deck is stacked against the champion heading into the gambling capital of the world.
Once MJF beat Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution, AEW went right into the build for MJF, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Jungle Boy Jack Perry. However, this is not the only championship match on the card. As per usual with Tony Khan, he has loaded this event up with another great storyline in the Elite taking on the Blackpool Combat Club.
In addition to the World Title match, there are five other title matches on the card.
With only a few days left before AEW Double or Nothing, let’s take a look at some of the betting favourites that are expected to emerge victorious in the night’s biggest bouts.

AEW Double or Nothing Odds via BetFair:
- AEW World Championship: MJF vs Sammy Guevara vs Darby Allin vs Jungle Boy Jack Perry
MJF is favoured at -1000 to retain the title. It makes sense. Allin (+700) as he has been presented on TV is the favourite of the contenders to win. While Guevara and Jack Perry are heavy underdogs each at +900.
- Anarchy in the Arena – Elite (-175) vs Blackpool Combat Club (+120)
The Elite have reunited, but the Blackpool Combat Club is so strong. This is as close to a pick em match as possible. Expect the heels to go over here. That will lead to another match down the line.
- AEW Women’s Championship: Jamie Hayter (-590) vs. Toni Storm (+300)
Hayter is the favourite to retain the title. She won the title from Storm at Full Gear. There need to be odds for how much interference there will be in this match between the Outcasts and the AEW Originals. Expect the champ to retain.
- AEW World Tag Team Championships: FTR (-1000) vs. Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal (+400)
FTR just regained the AEW World Tag Team Titles. This is the feud that starts with Mark Briscoe as a special referee. The champs should win, but expect some funny business with Briscoe.
- TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (-400) vs. Taya Valkyrie (+225)
Valkyrie is being shown as the biggest threat to Jade’s title run. Their first match had a rule that Taya could not use the Road to Valhalla. This time there are no rules. Vegas is giving you value with Taya. And there is a chance the title could change hands, but most likely Jade retains it.
- TNT Championship Ladder Match: Wardlow (-275) vs Christian Cage (+175)
Don’t be surprised if we get a new champion here. Yes, take Christian. He is the master of the ladder match. Considering the way this belt is a hot potato, everything is set up for a new champion. Even the champ is favoured bet the challenger here.
- Adam Cole (-590) vs. Chris Jericho (+333) Unsanctioned Match
This should be a great match. Jericho and Cole have never faced-off and with no rules, this could steal the show. Cole is the favourite and Jericho has been putting over younger talent recently. There could be a swerve, but expect Cole to win in his first match back.
- Blackjack Battle Royal – International Title – Orange Cassidy (-125)
With the match being in Vegas, you know there will be a surprise Joker card. However, the way Orange Cassidy has been defending the title, he should retain it here. It will not be easy, especially in a Battle Royal.
AEW Double or Nothing Happens Sunday, May 28th.
