It is Thursday and you know what that means… ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. Double or Nothing is this weekend and it was the final Dynamite before the PPV on Sunday. It was another stellar show from Las Vegas and Tony Khan wanted momentum heading into the show. Let’s see how this show did there was minimal sports competition.
AEW Dynamite Viewership Stays In Range
AEW Dynamite looks to continue to maintain its audience during the most exciting time for sports fans with the NBA Playoffs and Stanley Cup Playoffs on. As mentioned before it was a solid card for this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. Tony Khan announced the first AEW Collision will be in Chicago on June 17th. This means CM Punk will be returning

The May 24th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 846,000 people and did a .32 in the 18-49 demo.
AEW Dynamite last night on TBS (8-10pm):

The viewership was up from the previous week with the demo going up as well. Consistently AEW Dynamite viewership has been in this range since Brawl All in September 2022. Even though fans want the number to be higher they are still putting on a good product. Yes, most would like over a million viewers consistently, but doing this number constantly is a success.
Again we look at year-to-year comparables and we know why these numbers have dipped some. AEW Dynamite is doing well on Wednesday night since it moved to TBS. This is why they are getting a new TV deal and show. However, having star power and good storylines would also draw people in as well.
AEW Dynamite was 4th on cable according to Showbuzzdaily.com. This was up three spots from last week. There was no NBA on TV, but there was a Stanley Cup Playoff game that was ranked 2nd on the cable charts. The Vanderpump Rules dominated the charts. With the PPV coming this weekend, the numbers should go post Double or Nothing, especially with a certain someone coming back.
