AEW Dynamite Viewership Rises as Demo Holds Steady

It is Thursday and you know what that means… ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. AEW is on the road to Double or Nothing as the company is building towards four pillars of AEW 4-way Match for the AEW World Title. Let’s see how this show did as there was a lot of competition on from the sports world.

AEW Dynamite Viewership Rises

AEW Dynamite looks to continue to maintain its audience during the most exciting time for sports fans with the NBA and Stanley Cup Playoffs on. There were two championship matches on the card along with the finals of the AEW Pillars Tournaments. Let’s dive into the numbers

The April 26th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 863,000 people and did a .28 in the 18-49 demo.

The viewership was up from the previous week with the demo holding strong. For the second straight week, the demo has remained the same which is a good thing. The viewership numbers are remaining in the 800,000 range which is also good. There are some that would like to see it higher. But this is their audience and good for them. Maybe if a certain someone returns the numbers will rise again.

Again we look at year-to-year comparables and we know why these numbers have dipped some. AEW Dynamite is doing well on Wednesday night since it moved to TBS.

It would help if there was more cross-promotion. AEW Dynamite was 9th on cable according to Showbuzzdaily.com. AEW was down several spots from the previous. As usual, they were behind two NBA games plus the two Stanley Cup Playoff games.  Hopefully, AEW can continue the upward trajectory with the viewership.
