In an advertised match between Ricky Starks and Juice Robinson, the match was ruled a no-contest when White showed up after Bullet Club music hit during Starks’s entrance. White and Robinson beatdown Starks as White his finishing move on Starks. After Robinson and White reunited as Bullet Club came to AEW. Recall, White left NJPW after losing to Hikuleo in a Loser Leaves Japan match. Following that loss, White lost to Eddie Kingston in a Loser Leaves New Japan.
White had been on WWE’s radar according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, but during Wrestlemania weekend, he fell off their radar. There was a belief they could still sign him. That was up until Wednesday night on Dynamite.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, it was White’s choice to go to AEW.
“WWE was after him. It was his choice between the two sides, and this was the side he chose.”
It will be interesting to see how they use Jay White going forward.

AEW News: FTR Wins Tag Team Championships Staying in AEW
There was a lot of uncertainty surrounding Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler’s future with AEW. On the Wednesday episode of AEW Dynamite, the future of FTR was decided. Over the last several months, Harwood on his podcast and Twitter was hinting the tag team might be leaving. Thus they put their careers on the line against the Gunns for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
There was a lot of speculation that with the current losing streak, the team might go back to WWE and be with Triple H. That was before Vince McMahon was back in charge.
With the win over the Gunns, FTR are two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions and will be in the company at least until they decide to call it a career.
