AEW Dynamite Ratings Rise With Announcement

It is Thursday and you know what that means… ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. It was the careers of FTR on the line as they took on the Gunns for AEW Tag Team Titles. Plus a couple of announcements mixed in. Let’s see how this show did after a rating bump from last week.

AEW Dynamite Ratings 

AEW Dynamite was looking to carry the momentum of last week into this week with another loaded card. Four championship matches with the main event involving FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.

The April 5th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 877,000 people and did a .30 in the 18-49 demo.

The viewership number was up from the previous week. No doubt the numbers rose because of Tony Khan’s announcement. Nobody expect Jay White to show up and with FTR in action in the main event, people were going to watch. Not to mention the World Champion was going to be on the program.

This week AEW Dynamite was 6th on cable according to Showbuzzdaily.com. AEW was down two spots from the previous week. They were behind two NBA games on ESPN per usual. Hopefully, AEW can continue the upward trajectory with the viewership. Remember last year at this time, CM Punk was with the company. But with the storylines building with the Blackpool Combat Club and the Elite, the numbers will keep going up.
