It is Thursday and you know what that means… ratings for AEW Dynamite are out. It was the return of Adam Cole to the ring along with Kenny Omega defending the IWGP US Title against Jeff Cobb. Let’s see how this show did after a rating bump from last week.
AEW Dynamite Ratings
AEW Dynamite was looking to carry the momentum of last week into this week with another loaded card. Again Kenny Omega was in action and Adam Cole returned to AEW in-ring action. Not to mention we have several big feuds developing.
The March 29th edition of AEW Dynamite week’s show was viewed by 833,000 people and did a .28 in the 18-49 demo.
AEW Dynamite last night on TBS (8-10pm):
833,000 viewers
P18-49 rating: 0.28
#4 cable original in P18-49

Both the demo and viewership numbers were down from the previous week. While Kenny Omega was in action, he was not in the main event slot Adam Cole was. But the match between Cole and Daniel Garcia was excellent as a main event. Along with the Blackpool Combat Club continuing their storyline with The Elite. MJF and Jungle Boy Jack Perry were also on the show.
It would have been nice to see AEW continue its upward trajectory of being over 900,000 viewers, but it feels AEW Dynamite has settled into its niche in the 800-900,000 range of viewers. Those are still good numbers but if you look over year to year the numbers were higher. You have to wonder if that has to do with someone missing from the roster that was there last year.
This week AEW Dynamite was 4th on cable according to Showbuzzdaily.com. They were behind two NBA games on ESPN per usual.
