WWE News: Roman Reigns and Logan Paul to Headline Crown Jewel
WWE is looking to make a splash when they head back to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel. The main event will be Roman Reigns taking on Logan Paul for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. A big reason why Paul is wrestling Reigns is WWE is looking to make a splash in the mainstream media. They held a press conference this past weekend in Vegas during the Canelo-GGG fight. As the Wrestling Observer notes, more boxing and mainstream media were there instead of wrestling media looking to drive up the hype. That backfired on WWE.
Along with the media, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer notes, the Saudi Prince wants Logan Paul in that spot because he is a big name. And as Bryan Alvarez noted, he is essentially telling WWE what to book when they have those shows there. As noted, Paul is a bigger name than Seth Rollins or Kevin Owens. Hence why Logan Paul is getting a shot at the titles. We will see how much interest it gains here in the United States.
AEW News: Saraya aka Paige Debuts at Dynamite Grand Slam
Outside of the three championship title changes, the big story coming out of Dynamite Grand Slam was the debut of Saraya aka Paige. After Toni Storm retained the AEW Women’s Interim World Title, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D started to beat down the champion. She was joined by Rebel and Serena Deeb after they took out Athena. All of a sudden the lights went out and Saraya’s music hit.
There she was walking down the stage in Arthur Ashe Stadium. The crowd was electric for her debut in AEW. Even her competition was shocked to see she was there and in the company. And yes, Saraya will be wrestling full-time in AEW. This is the spark the Women’s division needed. People did not forget who she was. Saraya aka Paige was a good female wrestler in WWE before a neck issue stopped her from competing.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, Saraya had been in talks with AEW and Tony Khan going back to the summer. After her debut, that report was right. In the same report, a Fightful source indicated Triple H was interested in bringing her back as well.

WWE News: Triple H War Games Will Debut at Survivor Series
On Monday here at Full Press Wrestling, we posted a story about Triple H bringing War Games to the main roster. The Survivor Series has been stale for some time now with the whole Raw vs. Smackdown thing. Nobody really cared. When NXT was involved (Black and Gold), the one year, it was a good thing. Triple H has his pulse on the business and knows he needs to spice things up. War Games based on storyline will be better than Raw vs. Smackdown. All things are moving in a positive sign for Triple H and WWE.
AEW News: AEW Talent Holds A Talent Meeting Prior To Dynamite
According to Fightful.com, there was a talent meeting held before AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. Details are scarce, However, according to the report, the pep talk was received positively from the roster. In addition, the report states, the morale around AEW has been so much more positive over the past three weeks than it was prior to All Out. It was described the locker room is the best it has been in a long time. As the Fightful source stated, “addition by subtraction” describes the backstage culture. Take that for what you will.
Tony Khan has leaned on Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho after the backstage brawl involving the Elite and CM Punk the night of All Out.
