Welcome to the wrestling roundup where we look at the biggest stories from the past week or weekend in wrestling. In the wrestling roundup, we not only will look at the news but rumours as well. Again fans love speculating on rumours. And all rumours will be cited from credible sources in the wrestling world. Remember with rumours, none of them have been confirmed. With that said let’s dive into this edition of the wrestling roundup.

AEW Rumor: The Young Bucks Send Feelers To WWE?
Ryan Frederick, an MMA writer for Wrestling Observer stands by his report the Young Bucks sent feelers. Though reports have been refuted, which we will get to in a minute, Frederick stands by his reports. He has heard this from multiple people. Though Frederick insists it is not a big deal: “It’s not like they actually reached out to WWE management. They told a friend in the company, a fellow wrestler, that they would be willing to listen to offers when their deals are up (I believe January 2024) and to let it be known.”
However, in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer, Meltzer stated the Young Bucks have denied this report ever took place.
“We talked about the WWE Story. The only thing I know on that is they have said that story is not true. They talk to people in WWE. That’s not unusual, but time will tell on what happened and what’s and everything like, but I do know that they’ve denied that stuff.” – From Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Now it is not uncommon for wrestlers to reach out to others in another company. The Young Bucks have lots of friends in WWE. But as Meltzer notes, if they wanted to speak to someone in management, they have Paul ‘Triple H” Levesque’s number already. Since they negotiated with him in 2018. So why go through a third party when they already have his number?
In addition to Frederick, Fightful.com has heard the same thing about the Bucks sending out feelers to WWE. This rumour has been out there for weeks. As they noted the Young Bucks do not want out of AEW following what happened following All Out.
With so much still to unravel from the ALL OUT Brawl, this is an interesting situation to watch.

AEW Rumor: Kenny Omega and Young Bucks Pulled From Full Gear Advertising
With Full Gear coming up in November, Wrestling Observer has noted The Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks) have been pulled from all advertising including Fear Gear. Full Gear is scheduled for November 19th in the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
We know Omega and the Bucks are suspended. But nobody really knows how long the suspensions will last. Presumably, it is through Full Gear, but that is still two months away and that is a long time for them to be off TV and a major PPV.
With Being the Elite officially being on hiatus via Twitter, everyone is waiting around to see what happens following the legal issues from the All Out Brawl with CM Punk. Hence why nobody is really talking about the brawl.
WWE Rumor: The Rock vs Roman Reigns Still On For Wrestlemania 39
WrestlingNews.co has been told there are no plans to change the Wrestlemania 39 main event featuring Roman Reigns vs The Rock. This was the original plan before Vince McMahon retired. And Triple H is sticking with this plan as long as The Rock is still on board. That means Roman Reigns is not losing the titles anytime soon. That means Reigns is walking into Wrestlemania the champion and walking out champion before losing sometime after Wrestlemania.
(This is all contingent on The Rock being able to work Wrestlemania and is covered by insurance to wrestle. The last time he worked, The Rock got hurt against John Cena and his production had to be delayed for a movie he was working on.)
WWE has been hoping this match happens as the Rock could pass the family torch to Reigns.
