AEW Introduces Trios Titles
The Trios Titles have been something that Tony Khan has been cooking up for a while. Many thought they would be introduced at Forbidden Door. But instead, the company made the All-Atlantic Championship. Now, with so many wrestlers coming back from injury this was the perfect time for AEW to introduce these trios titles.
Khan has been continuously asked about these trios titles dating back several months now. When AEW returned to Long Island back in May, Khan confirmed in multiple interviews the trios titles were made. Khan was the only one that knew the trios titles were even made. Nobody else has seen them but him.
“We’ve got a great group of trios in AEW.,” Khan said in an interview. “Fans are asking for it all the time. I think it makes a lot of sense. There’s a number of markets we need to service and I think trios are popular in many parts of the world. I think it would be great.”
