It’s Thursday and you know what that means… ratings for Wednesday night AEW Dynamite are out. This week’s show was jam-packed with loads of fun matches and segments throughout. Let’s see how it did as Tony Khan continues to pull out all the stops.

The show was solid though not as good as the previous weeks. Though it was still a loaded card. Tony Khan via Adam Cole and Jay White announced that AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling will be partnering to do a show on June 26th, in Chicago, called Forbidden Door.
On to the action. CM Punk dressed in Bret Hart colours took on Dustin Rhodes in a highly entertaining opening match. Dustin can still go for his age. And Punk is only getting better and better. After Punk won the match, Adam Page came out and the two had a staredown. It appears Punk is finally going to get his title shot.
In addition, we saw the Blackpool Combat Club in action. Man what a trio these guys are. Tony Khan, it is time to add the trios’ belts. More on that another time. In the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, there were two excellent qualifiers as Jungle Boy took on Kyle O’Reilly. O’Reilly got the victory, but this was an excellent singles match. On the women’s side of things, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D got the hometown reception many expected in Pittsburgh. She then caught a great promo on the women’s division.
The Wardlow and MJF feud continues as Wardlow is being handcuffed to and from the ring now. Wardlow got the win over the Butcher but will face Lance Archer next. Hook was also in action, plus Sammy Guevara and Scorpio Sky have another date for the TNT Title. In the main event, Darby Allin took on Andrade in a Coffin match. This was a fun match to close the show.
