The show was awesome and Tony Khan continues to show less can be more. Tag team wrestling took center stage as FTR took on the Young Bucks. It was their second match in AEW and the first in 18 months. What a match this was. FTR is having a great week of wrestling putting on six-star quality matches with the Young Bucks and The Briscoes at ROH Supercard of Honor. This was a great way to end the show. Do yourself a favour and watch this match. FTR and the Young Bucks are the two best tag teams in the world.
AEW opened hot as Adam Cole and Christian Cage had a solid match. After the match, Tony Khan set up two matches for next week as Jurassic Express will defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles against reDRagon Dynamite. While Hangman Adam Page challenged Adam Cole to a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Title on Rampage.
Samoa Joe made his debut on Dynamite taking on Max Caster, who had a great tap on Joe. This match was quick. Good to see Joe back out there. Jay Lethal showed up on the tron and the story continued from Friday night on Supercard of Honor when Samoa Joe showed up. The MJF and Wardlow storyline progressed and this is great old-school wrestling. Things are escalating between Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz and the Jericho Appreciation Society. The Hardys and Butcher/Blade had a fun tables match. Jeff Hardy is insane with the Swanton Bomb off the ladder through two tables.
Finally, we saw AEW setting up feuds inside the women’s division with Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb and Jamie Hayter and Toni Storm. Plus Blackpool Combat Club cut a solid promo.
