The show was built around the main event of Thunder Rosa vs Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D inside a steel cage match. After Baker retained the title at AEW Revolution thanks to lots of outside interference, this time no Rebel or Jamie Hayter at ringside. What a match this was between these two ladies. For the second time in history on the anniversary of their Lights Out match, Rosa and Baker did it again. This time Rosa got the victory in her adopted hometown and what a pop it was as she was crowned the new AEW Women’s World Champion.
The rest of the show was really good that saw Hangman Adam Page and Jurassic Express open the show against Adam Cole and reDRagon. Excellent trios match to open the show. Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley are a great tag team with William Regal managing them. Interesting to see where the Wheeler Yuta and Regal thing goes and if he joins that group. Chris Jericho continues to amaze with the transformation of his character. He is now a Sports Entertainer in a pro wrestling company. Another epic promo worth watching.
We saw a great TNT title match between Scorpio Sky and Wardlow. Sky retains but the big story is the feud between MJF and Shawn Spears against Wardlow. This has come to a boiling point. Also, we saw the debut of the Hardys in tag team action. They had a solid match against Private Party.

We also saw the debut of Jeff Hardy saving his brother Matt Hardy from the beatdown from Andrade, Butcher, Blade, and Private Party. Interesting staredown between Jeff and Sting. We also know that Swerve will have his first match against Tony Nese on Rampage. Then there was Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley debuting as a Tag Team after their clash at Revolution. William Regal as their manager was cool to see. While his promo ran long good to see him back. And what is to come of FTR without Tully Blanchard. Could Bret Hart be involved somehow? Plus Wardlow is now the biggest babyface on the planet. Is the TNT title in his future for next week.
Everything had a purpose on this show to build towards Revolution.
