It’s Thursday and you know what that means… ratings for Wednesday night AEW Dynamite are out. And it was the post-show from Revolution and Tony Kahn pulled out all the stops.
AEW Dynamite Number One on Cable

This was another very good episode of AEW Dynamite. Coming off a great Revolution PPV, the show opened hot as Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston had a great confrontation. Jericho fooled everyone thinking he respected Kingston by shaking his hand, but it was all a setup to beatdown Kingston along with Santana and Ortiz.
Championship matches filled this episode of Dynamite as Dante Martin took on Hangman Adam Page for the AEW Championship. Martin was ranked number two in the rankings, so after a great match with Adam Cole on Sunday, Page was back in action. After the match, Adam Cole challenged Page to a six-man tag team match next week. Jurassic Express defended the AEW Tag Team Titles against the Acclaimed.
In the main event of the night, Scorpio Sky became the new TNT Champion defeating Sammy Guevara in a great match to close the show. Following their clash at the PPV, Thunder Rosa will get her hands on Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D next week inside a steel cage as Rosa will get a shot at the title in her hometown.

We also saw the debut of Jeff Hardy saving his brother Matt Hardy from the beatdown from Andrade, Butcher, Blade, and Private Party. Interesting staredown between Jeff and Sting. We also know that Swerve will have his first match against Tony Nese on Rampage. Then there was Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley debuting as a Tag Team after their clash at Revolution. William Regal as their manager was cool to see. While his promo ran long good to see him back. And what is to come of FTR without Tully Blanchard. Could Bret Hart be involved somehow? Plus Wardlow is now the biggest babyface on the planet. Is the TNT title in his future for next week.
Everything had a purpose on this show to build towards Revolution.
