It’s Thursday and you know what that means… ratings for Wednesday night Dynamite are out. Tony Kahn had to follow up a great Dynamite the week before in Atlantic City, let’s see how AEW Dynamite did in terms of the ratings.
AEW Dynamite
The February 16, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite was live from Nashville, TN. This week’s show was viewed by 869,000 people and did a .31 in the 18-49 demo which is about 406,00 people. Both the viewership number and demo number were down from a week ago. AEW Dynamite finished third in the demo on cable. They had strong competition from the NBA on ESPN and of course the Olympics. And of course, when there is major news, AEW viewership drops. This was the lowest total viewership and 18-49 viewership since December.
AEW Dynamite last night on TBS:
869,000 viewers
P18-49: 0.31 (406,000)Lowest total and 18-49 viewership since December.

This was a very good episode of AEW Dynamite that was built around the main event of Sammy Guevara defending the TNT Title against Darby Allin. This was a very good match. Though the ending was less to be desired. Overall very good.
In addition, CM Punk opened the show cutting a great promo and challenging MJF to a dog collar match at AEW Revolution in March. MJF walked out said nothing and walked to the back. We also got great promos from Hangman Adam Page and Adam Cole, which led to a beat down from Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. In addition, Jay White cut a promo for his match on Rampage.

Other matches included Bryan Danielson taking on Lee Moriarty. Jon Moxley came out after and cut a promo on Danielson. Plus we saw Santana & Ortiz taking on Chris Jericho and Jake Hager with Eddie Kingston and Jericho getting into an altercation after. Thunder Rosa and Mercedes Martinez had a great No DQ match with Dr. Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel getting involved after. Overall this show was good as we head towards Revolution.
