Smackdown was heading into the Elimination Chamber with Goldberg taking on Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. Roman had a sit down interview and Roman said he is going to Goldberg Goldberg. Which realistically that needs to happen. It feels it will be title for title when he takes on Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
In addition, the Sonya Deville-Naomi storyline continued. Naomi was in the main event taking on Charolette for the Smackdown Women’s title. Once again Sonya interfered in the match leading to a tag team match with Sonya/Charolette vs Rhonda Rousey and Naomi at the Elimination Chamber PPV. But it was also a regular Smackdown episode.

AEW Rampage was viewed by 549,000 people and did a .19 in the 18-49 demo. The viewership is up from a week ago. However, the .19 in the 18-49 demo was the lowest since December 31st as it was 10th on cabe according to Showbuzzdaily.com. Like the previous week AEW was affected by Olympic coverage.
This was a solid Rampage for AEW. The show opened with a match that was supposed to happen a couple of weeks ago as the Young Bucks took on Roppongi Vice. This was a highly entertaining tag team match. AEW knows how to do tag team matches. In addition we daw AEW World Women’s Champion in action Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D as they progressed the Thunder Rosa storyline. Plus Hook was in action and the main event was Jurassic Express taking on Gunn Club for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
Remember AEW Rampage for Friday, February 19th will be at 7pm due to the NBA All-Star Weekend.
