This was a very good episode of AEW Dynamite that so was built around the main event for the AEW Title between Hangman Adam Page and Lance Archer in a Texas Death Match. This was a better match than expected with some crazy spots by both participants. This was a great way to close out a stellar card. Adam Cole came out to claim his stake for the title.
In addition, Tony Kahn said he promised someone would walk the Forbidden Door and sign a contract. Plus he teased the debut of a new signee against Isiah Cassidy. What does Kahn do? He debuts Keith Lee and Jay White in AEW.

The show opened with MJF talking about his victory over CM Punk. AEW continues to plant seeds between him and Wardlow. CM Punk shows up and asked for a rematch but not with MJF, but the guy who beat him in Wardlow. This led to an impromptu tag team match between FTR and Punk along with a partner of his choosing. It could not be Sting or Darby Allin, who came down the entranceway. Punk’s partner was Jon Moxley. This was a great match. We also saw the demise of the Inner Circle. Along with Jade Cargill in action.
