AEW Dynamite was viewed by 1,020,000 people. This is up from a week ago. In addition, the show did a .37 in the 18-49 demo which was about 480,000 people. These were the best viewership numbers Dynamite has had in a long time. The show was ranked number two on cable only behind the Army-Missouri Bowl Game according to Showbuzzdaily.com. This show was the highest 19-49 since November 17th.
This was an excellent show from start to finish that was perfectly paced. Like the previous week, AEW did not cram too much into the show, which sometimes they like to do. Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy kicked off the show in a solid match. During the match, Kyle O’Reilly debuted in AEW. After the match, O’Reilly and Cole acknowledged their past together. Young Bucks came down and were non too pleased. The former Undisputed Era is back in action next week.

Plus in the main event, Sting returned to Greensboro for the first time since 1988 teaming with Darby Allin and CM Punk to take on MJF and FTR. That was a fun trios match. Also, AEW showed a tribute to Owen Hart for the upcoming Owen Hart Cup. Not to mention, AEW set up Danielson-Page II for the debut on TBS.
