Smackdown is building towards WWE Day 1 on New Year’s Day as Brock Lesnar will be fighting Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. With Paul Heyman as the special counsel to the tribal chief, this week we saw the seeds being planted for a potential turn by Heyman reuniting with Lesnar as his advocate. This is a great storyline between Reigns, Lesnar and Heyman. One of the more entertaining things on the show. Lesnar also confronted Adam Pearce later in the night. It was a typical Smackdown show with Raw superstars Randy Orton and Riddle appearing.
