Survivor Series 2021 Predictions
Welcome to WWE’s “All-Star Game”. Survivor Series this year just pits Raw versus SmackDown in dreaded “brand warfare” but it makes the show seem more like Whose Line Is It Anyway. The matches are made up, and the wins don’t matter. Regardless, some of the matches are exciting even if they won’t have any storyline impacts. Evan & Javier from the Crossbody of Work podcast are here to predict what is truly a glorified charity show.

25 Man Battle Royale
Evan: A way to get everybody else on the card. How surprised would you be if one of these 25 wrestlers got released between now and the match? They have 25 people in it for The Rocks’ 25th anniversary. Anyways, let’s go with someone fun.
Prediction – Cesaro
Javier: What is this? Who booked this? Whatever, Sami wins.
Prediction – Sami Zayn

Damian Priest (United States Champion) vs Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental Champion)
Evan: Damian Priest did a really good impression of The Rock in WWE’s photoshoot. He gets bonus points for that. This match is going to be a banger, and I think Priest will get the win.
Prediction – Damian Priest
Javier: Priest is going to be a bigger deal next year and needs to pick up more important PPV wins, like beating the Intercontinental Champion clean.
Prediction – Damian Priest

RK-Bro (Raw Tag Team Champions) vs The Usos (SmackDown Tag Team Champions)
Evan: Randy Orton is breaking the all-time PPV match record with this match. Unfortunately, he’s going to celebrate it while looking up at the lights. Until something changes, The Usos are untouchable by virtue of being with Roman Reigns.
Prediction – The Usos
Javier: One of these teams is breaking up at some point and it isn’t the twin brothers, so they win.
Prediction – The Usos

Men’s Survivor Series Match – Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley & Austin Theory) vs Team SmackDown (King Woods, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Happy Corbin & Jeff Hardy)
Evan: I always love traditional five-on-five matches because moves seem to hurt 10x as much and people get pinned so easily. Anyways, I see Woods & McIntyre being the sole survivors here for Team Blue.
Prediction – Team SmackDown
Javier: I’m pretty sure this is going to be used to elevate Drew McIntyre to Roman Reigns and keep Woods hot for that feud. Hopefully more heel Owens!
Prediction – Team SmackDown

Women’s Survivor Series Match – Team Raw (Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella, Queen Zelina) vs Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Shotzi, Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Toni Storm)
Evan: This one is tricky, as I don’t know who is going to get the big shine here. Let’s say that it is Liv Morgan ahead of challenging Becky Lynch.
Prediction – Team Raw
Javier: Shotzi is going to screw over Sasha in this match and Rhea Ripley is going to dominate it.
Prediction – Team Raw

Becky Lynch (Raw Women’s Champion) vs Charlotte Flair (SmackDown Women’s Champion)
Evan: I’ve learned by now to stop betting against Charlotte Flair. WWE is always willing to give her a big win… except when she’s had a lot of bad press and is going up against the other one of WWE’s pillars of the women’s division. Becky will win, it just might not be clean or a pinfall.
Prediction – Becky Lynch
Javier: This is going to be a count-out or a DQ or something. My guess is Charlotte gets DQ’d because why not. If any other result occurs, it’ll be Becky winning because Charlotte is being a diva.
Prediction – Becky Lynch

Big E (WWE Champion) vs Roman Reigns (WWE Universal Champion)
Evan: I want so badly to pick Big E. Reigns could lose here due to New Day shenanigans and still not lose the belt. It’s the perfect time to put a dent in the armor. Still, I just don’t see WWE letting Reigns lose any time soon.
Prediction – Roman Reigns
Javier: Roman Reigns is not losing. Sorry, E, but it’s just not possible.
Prediction – Roman Reigns
