Full Gear has come and gone. And what a show it was. But Full Press Wrestling already talked about that earlier in the week. Today we focus on the fallout from Full Gear with the ratings for AEW Dynamite live from Norfolk, Virginia.
The November 17th edition of AEW Dynamite took place from the new AEW World Champion’s home state of Virginia. The crowd was buzzing before the opening segment started. And just like in months past following a PPV, AEW had a great Dynamite show. Non-stop action for two hours. AEW Dynamite was 984,000 viewed by people and did .37 in the 18-49 demo which is about. Dynamite was number three on cable according to Showbuzzdaily.com behind two NBA games on cable. Both numbers were up from the previous week.
AEW Dynamite last night on TNT:

Following one of the highest bought PPVs in AEW history around 145,000 PPV buys or more, AEW Dynamite opened hot with the celebration of Hangman Adam Page winning the AEW World Title. Though Bryan Danielson did not go full heel, the battle on the mic between him and Page was excellent. Prior to that, we heard from Kenny Omega and as AEW does, they are teasing the breakup of the Young Bucks and Adam Cole.

Along with that, we had great matches on the card from top to bottom. AEW moved storylines along as well built new feuds, especially inside the women’s division. We saw the debuts of Tomohiro Ishii and Jay Lethal, who fought Sammy Guevara for the TNT Title in the main event. Oh yeah, we also got CM Punk interrupting MJF not shaking his hand and walking away. What a rivalry this will be.
