A day late and a dollar short for this edition of the Friday Night wrestling ratings. This week we will break down the ratings for the November 5th editions of WWE Smackdown and AEW Rampage. Both shows were live this week but not head to head.
WWE Smackdown returned to Fox this week and the numbers came back in terms of viewership and 18-49 demo. Smackdown was viewed by 2,093,000 million people. That is a solid number for a Friday night. But Smackdown does well on network television. The show did a .57 in the 18-49 demo which was good for second on network television behind Shark Tank according to Showbuzzdaily.com.

It was a solid show for Smackdown featuring Jimmy Uso and King Xavier. While it was a singles match, you knew the rest of the Bloodline (Roman Reigns and Jey Uso) took out Xavier and Sir Kofi. Also, Drew McIntyre battled Ricochet in a solid match.
AEW Rampage was viewed by 599,000 people down from the previous week. The show did a .22 in the 18-49 demo which was good for fifth on cable for a Friday night. And if you factor all television numbers in they were 16th overall. The show featured Bryan Danielson in action against Acclaimed member Anthony Bowens. Go check Max Caster’s rap prior to the match. Also, we got CM Punk and Eddie Kingston faceoff as well as Adam Cole vs John Silver.
In regards to the Kingston and Punk segment, which was the second quarter of the show, it was the strongest quarter for Rampage. The high point peaked with an average of 638,000 people including 329,000 in the 18-49 demo.
