NXT gets spooky once again with Halloween Havoc
One of the best revivals that WWE has done recently is bringing back Halloween Havoc. The old WCW show is a favorite this time of year, and NXT does a good job paying homage while also making it new for their audience. This year Halloween Havoc is the regular NXT show on Tuesday nights with four title matches on deck. Here is the card for the show:
- Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs Bron Breakker – NXT Championship
- Raquel Gonzalez (c) vs Mandy Rose – NXT Women’s Championship; Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match
- Io Shirai & Zoey Stark (c) vs Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta vs Toxic Attraction – NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships; Triple Threat Scareway to Hell Ladder Match
- MSK (c) vs Imperium – NXT Tag Team Championships; Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match
The show could realistically see all titles change hands. Toxic Attraction as a group has received a huge push in NXT 2.0. It’s entirely reasonable that Mandy Rose could dethrone Gonzalez and her stablemates could come out of the tag team match as champions. WWE loves to give stables a “hold all the gold” moment, and this could be it for Toxic Attraction.
Bron Breakker has received a massive push in his debut. Could that lead to an NXT Championship reign? Ciampa is a holdover from the NXT of old, but he also serves as a proud and established champion. NXT could make a spicy decision and give the belt to Breakker instead.
Also scheduled for the show is the debut of Solo Sikoa. Son of Rikishi and younger brothers of The Usos, expect Sikoa to get a big spotlight early.
Also debuting on the show will be a mystery superstar. They seem to be fond of burying things and playing cards. We’ll just have to see what all that is about!
