AEW All Out 2021 Predictions
All Out is one of the most anticipated wrestling events in a long time. With four title matches and the in-ring return of CM Punk, all eyes are on Chicago this weekend. Will we see some new debuts from people like Ruby Soho, Bryan Danielson, or Adam Cole? To preview the show, Evan & Javier from Crossbody of Work are here to provide their predictions.
Best Friends & Jurassic Express vs Hardy Family Office & The Hybrid 2
Evan: I had no idea this match was on the card. Recently a friend who isn’t a big wrestling fan checked out the AEW roster and said Luchasaurus was his new favorite wrestler. Based on that alone, I’m going with them.
Pick – Best Friends & Jurassic Express
Javier: This feud has been going on for way too long. My guess is that the babyfaces go over, with Orange Cassidy getting the pin on Matt Hardy.
Pick – Best Friends & Jurassic Express
Women’s Casino Battle Royale
Evan: This one is truly the hardest to predict (thanks, statistics). I think they’ll try to give Britt Baker a newer opponent for her. Let’s go with Taynara Conti, who has been consistently good for a while now. Give her a shot at Baker’s title with a fresh match-up.
Pick – Taynara Conti
Javier: This match is a hard one to predict. There are a number of competitors who can actually win. My reasoning for picking Hikaru Shida is this: Thunder Rosa had a backstage segment with Nyla Rose and Jade Cargill, so I think something is happening there. Anna Jay and Tay Conti have a feud brewing with the Bunny and Penelope Ford, so there’s that. Finally, I think the Joker for the match will be Ruby Soho. I don’t believe that AEW is going to bring her in and push her to a title shot straight away like they did with Brian Cage last year, so my guess is a different route for her. That leaves really just Shida and Big Swole in my mind, so I just went with one of them.
Pick – Hikaru Shida
Jon Moxley vs Satoshi Kojima
Evan: Kojima is getting his AEW debut, and also it will be my first time seeing one of his matches. From what I’ve heard, I should be very excited. Moxley will retain, but I’m excited for this one.
Pick – Jon Moxley
Javier: While it would be cool to see Kojima win this match, there’s just no way, surely. Moxley facing New Japan guys randomly is so cool though. I hope it’s a trend that continues.
Pick – Jon Moxley
Paul Wight vs QT Marshall
Evan: I think AEW believes in QT Marshall as a heat magnet. The internet has their opinion on QT, which is pretty much outright hatred. He’s not bad, even if he isn’t my cup of tea as a wrestler. Wight doesn’t need to be winning anything in AEW, but a win by Marshall can make him more legitimate in the eyes of the fans.
Pick – QT Marshall
Javier: There may be chicanery that leads to Marshall winning, but this match doesn’t matter enough to me to predict anything but the obvious.
Pick – Paul Wight

Chris Jericho vs MJF – If Jerich Loses, He Must Retire
Evan: Once the career stipulation was added, it seemed to make it a foregone conclusion that Jericho will win. He’s a big draw for AEW and a major star. That’s why it’ll be such a swerve when MJF cheats to put Jericho out to pasture. Like every wrestling retirement, it won’t be permanent but it will be a surprise.
Pick – MJF
Javier: This is my bold pick. I understand that the stipulation is that Jericho would retire from in-ring competition and that he’s lost a million matches to MJF, but AEW have done weird stuff like this in the past for the sake of storytelling and who better than Jericho to give us a shock moment? My guess is MJF wins the match, Jericho does commentary, maybe a little management, and goes off to do Fozzy stuff for a few months before eventually earning his career back.
Pick – MJF
Miro (c) vs Eddie Kingston – TNT Championship
Evan: Eddie Kingston is a great foil for Miro. We have seen Miro topple some smaller foes, but Kingston is a different beast. I think he still survives against Kingston and lives to fight another challenger.
Pick – Miro
Javier: This is going to be a hoss fight! I think that Kingston will have many moments of looking strong over the monster that Miro has become, but in the end, Miro breaks him and continues his dominant reign.
Pick – Miro
Young Bucks (c) vs Lucha Bros – AEW Tag Team Championship Cage Match
Evan: Two years ago these two teams had an outstanding ladder match at All Out. I now expect them to put on a great cage match this time around. I think at least one title is changing hands at the show, so I’ll go with it here.
Pick – Lucha Bros
Javier: It’s getting to be time for the Elite to start losing some gold, but this is not the Bucks’ time. This is my guess for the match of the night. These two do not know what a bad match is and throw in the monstrosity that is that AEW cage, we’re going to see fireworks.
Pick – Young Bucks
Britt Baker (c) vs Kris Statlander – AEW Women’s Championship
Evan: I still don’t know who on the roster is positioned to dethrone Baker. She’s got such a strong grasp on the title, and Statlander doesn’t feel like the right person to take the title. Let’s hope the Casino Battle Royale provides us with a new challenger (maybe in the form of Ruby Soho?)
Pick – Britt Baker
Javier: While there could be a shock win here for Kris Statlander, my guess is Britt Baker retains. I think the woman to take the title off of her is going to be Thunder Rosa, and clearly Statlander is not her, so yeah.
Pick – Britt Baker
CM Punk vs Darby Allin
Evan: I just don’t see how Punk can come in and lose his first match in 7 years. Allin will look amazing, but it’s Punk who will walk away the winner. We should also just get excited to see Punk back in action.
Pick – CM Punk
Javier: Punk has spent seven years talking about part-timers coming in and taking opportunities from full-time guys. He’s spent a while talking about the young talent of AEW and wanting to work with them. If he wins, he just kinda looks like a hypocrite, no? My guess is Darby catches him with a roll-up of some kind and a Punk heel turn is coming down the line!
Pick – Darby Allin
Kenny Omega (c) vs Christian Cage – AEW Championship
Evan: It feels like Christian winning the Impact World Title was a compromise. He gets that title, Omega gets to keep the AEW Championship. It isn’t Christian’s time to be a double champion.
Pick – Kenny Omega
Javier: I just don’t see how Christian Cage wins this match. There’s just no way. My guess is these two have the best match of Christian’s career, but Omega retains. There’s only one man that can take the belt off of him, but that cowboy isn’t on the card (hope all is going well with the final days of the pregnancy, Hangman!). After the match, there’s an Elite beat down on Cage and Jurassic Express, who come to his aid. Who makes the save on them? Final Countdown starts playing and it’s a debuting Brian Danielson! Yes!
Pick – Kenny Omega
That’s who we have winning at All Out 2021. Who do you have winning? Think we’re totally off base? Let us know on Twitter at @FPC_Wrestling.
