AEW Homecoming is Wednesday night back at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville.
After returning to touring, AEW is back at their home base for Dynamite Homecoming. The show is a regular Dynamite, but will be a special celebration of being back in Jacksonville. Here are three questions for tonight’s Dynamite Homecoming.
1. What will be the next Labor of Jericho?
On this week’s show, Chris Jericho has to face his old friend and rival Juventud Guerrera. Jericho can only win with a move from the top rope in an extra stipulation. He’s already survived Shawn Spears and Nick Gage in a chairs match and a no rules match. Once he dispatches Juvi, who will be next?

Many ideas have been circulating online. Some say that Sammy Guevara may be a sacrificial lamb in a match with Jericho. It could be the return of his old Thrillseekers teammate Lance Storm for a technical match? MJF has been fantastic with the reveals of the next Labor of Jericho, so the post-match promo from MJF is must-see television.
2. How will Malaki Black go over Cody Rhodes?
It isn’t really a question of if Malaki Black will beat Cody. Black is a hot new signing and is poised to become a main event player in AEW. Cody does not need to win because he’s a made man in AEW and isn’t poised for a world title run any time soon. So how does Black go over Cody?
Will it be a dominating performance, a la Brock Lesnar? Does AEW give these guys plenty of time to go out and have a barn burner which they absolutely have the skills to do? While unlikely, will they have Black cheat to win? My best bet is on a well-fought match with a clear victory for Black, but it is still interesting to see how AEW handles the booking.
3. Can anyone stop Miro?
Hopefully the answer is no. Miro has been a revelation as AEW TNT Champion. This week he gets challenged by Lee Johnson. Since dethroning Darby Allin in May, Miro has beaten Lance Archer, Evil Uno, and Brian Pillman Jr. among others. Will anybody be able to beat Miro?
Looking at the roster, there are still many interesting challengers out there for Miro. Some potential challengers: Eddie Kingston, PAC, or Christian Cage could all have lights-out matches with Miro. For now, we should all just marvel at Miro’s run where he tears challengers apart limb from limb. Long live Miro!
