Wrestlemania 37 Night One Predictions
The Showcase of The Immortals is here! Wrestlemania 37 is going to Tampa and it’s going to have fans in attendance. Just like last year, Wrestlemania is a two-night affair, and night one is full of some quality matches. We’ve got titles on the line, a celebrity appearance, and the best wrestler in the world: Shane McMahon. Evan & Javier are here to give you their predictions for Night One of Wrestlemania 37.

Bobby Lashley (c) vs Drew McIntyre – WWE Championship
Evan: It would be a damn shame to have Lashley lose the title this early. I know WWE wants to have the first match in front of people get a positive reaction. Guess what: people will cheer if Lashley retains. We love him that much right now.
Pick – Bobby Lashley
Javier: It would just really suck if Lashley was built up like a monster for this long and wins the title just before Wrestlemania only to immediately drop it to McIntyre. Give me some more heel champion Lashley and just let him crush people. Also, please make him win with a move that isn’t the Hurt Lock because it sucks.
Pick – Bobby Lashley

Bad Bunny & Damian Priest vs Miz & John Morrison
Evan: I love that Bad Bunny actually loves wrestling and will give it his all in this match. Damian Priest is getting his first ever Wrestlemania match. Yeah, this is all lining up for a whooping of Miz & Morrison.
Pick – Bad Bunny & Damian Priest
Javier: Bad Bunny is a celebrity and the celebrity always wins. Moreover, this is a great spot to showcase how good Priest is so I hope this match gets some time. Benito has been training for months down at the Performance Center and I’m actually excited to see what he’s going to be able to do.
Pick – My fellow Hispanics, Bad Bunny & Damian Priest

The New Day (c) vs AJ Styles & Omos – Raw Tag Team Championships
Evan: It pains me to pick against the New Day… that’s why I’m not going to. Yes, Omos is a new wrinkle and he and Styles could be a great addition to the tag division. They may be champs down the line, but I’m going to be cheering for my boys anyways.
Pick – The New Day
Javier: This is honestly the hardest pick of the bunch for me. The Raw tag team division is awful and in dire need of new blood. Cue Styles and Omos. Omos is debuting and I’m curious to see what he’s able to do and I’ll never turn down the opportunity to see Styles with some gold. With that said, New Day is the backbone of the division and if new teams are being introduced to Raw, maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep the belts on Kofi and Woods for that.
Pick – Styles & Omos

Cesaro vs Seth Rollins
Evan: Oh this match is going to be good. It’s also the hardest to pick in my opinion. Both men can be catapulted into the next spot to challenge for the Universal Championship with a win. Based on who I am picking for the triple threat on Night Two, let’s go with the heel to win here.
Pick – Seth Rollins
Javier: This is the match I’m looking forward to most this weekend. Give these guys 10-15 minutes to go out there and tear down the house and you may get a Wrestlemania classic in return. Cesaro has been getting a lot of attention lately and if my pick for the main event of Night Two comes true, it’ll be in his favor to have some momentum.
Pick – Cesaro

Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon – Steel Cage Match
Evan: I just can’t get into this match. Shane’s the best wrestler in the world, but I’m going to pick against him.
Pick – Braun Strowman
Javier: Shane jumps off something high. Strowman throws him around. He wins after a while. Maybe he throws Shane through the cage and McMahon wins that way. Either way, I don’t care.
Pick – Braun Strowman

Lana & Naomi vs Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose vs The Riott Squad vs Natalya & Tamina vs Billie Kay & Carmella – Tag Team Turmoil Match for a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match on Night Two
Evan: Reunite the IIconics, you cowards. Have Peyton Royce replace an “injured” Carmella and have the IIconics win. That is some wishful thinking, so instead I’ll pick the team that has impressed me most recently: Sexy Muscle Friends!
Pick – Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose
Javier: We’ve seen them all face the champions except for this new pairing, which I have no idea how they formed but I absolutely love the fit. Give them a shot at the champs on the second night and give me as much Billie Kay entertaining me as humanly possible.
Pick – Billie Kay & Carmella

Sasha Banks (c) vs Bianca Belair – SmackDown Women’s Championship
Evan: It is time for Belair, and she is more than ready. It’s weird to think that we’re ushering in the next generation after the Four Horsewomen, but there is so much talent ready to help bolster the division that those four have been carrying for a few years. Belair is going to win many, many championships in her career. This is the start.
Pick – Bianca Belair.
Javier: The women main event the first night! For as big a star as Banks is, this is Wrestlemania has the chance to replicate the Batista/John Cena at Wrestlemania 21 star-making moments. I believe the first comes with Belair, who takes the belt off of Banks after a stellar match and finally gets her moment. The first of many.
Pick – Bianca Belair
That’s who we have walking away victorious on Night One. Agree? Disagree? Let us know on Twitter at @FPC_Wrestling.
