The Main Event: Revolution Revisited
Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston got a vignette explaining the ending of the Deathmatch from Revolution. Kingston explained the anxiety that he had at the end of the match, explaining why he froze in place. Their explanation for why the bomb didn’t actually go off: Impact paid for the bomb. The internet made fun of the ending for days, and this promo got things back on course.
.@MadKing1981 & @JonMoxley had to let @KennyOmegamanX & The #GoodBrothers what the deal was.

Kenny Omega didn’t take responsibility for the ending looking the way it did, but didn’t deny it either. Kingston came to the ring to confront Omega, The Good Brothers & Don Callis. They mocked Kingston’s protection of Moxley in the Revolution main event and goaded him into a brawl. Of course Kingston was outnumbered but put up a good fight.

Afterwards, Christian Cage made his way out to stand toe to toe with Omega. He came this close to hitting an Unprettier, but Omega was pulled to safety by Don Callis. Does Cage have the next spot up against The Cleaner?

The Undercard:
Closing the show this week was The Inner Circle’s War Council. The group was discussing how to change, and even discussing a new member. Sammy Guevara appeared and showed footage of MJF convincing the rest of Inner Circle to turn on Jericho. It looked like they would, but instead they turned on MJF. He had a backup plan: FTR, Wardlow & Shawn Spears supported MJF and beat down The Inner Circle. He’s got his own Inner Circle, his own Five Horsemen, for some faction warfare.
.@The_MJF may be out of the #InnerCircle…But, MJF had something else up his sleeve. Watch #AEWDynamite NOW on @TNTDrama. pic.twitter.com/Zh2aTlBh0x

Scorpio Sky cashed in his win in the Face of the Revolution ladder match to challenge Darby Allin. In one of the better matches of the night, Allin outlasted Sky to retain the title. After the match, Sky refused to let go of a heel hook and seemingly turned heel. Does this lead to a long-term feud between the two?
.@ScorpioSky has snapped!

We’re going to get a Pentagon-Cody Rhodes feud, and it’s going to be so good. Pentagon called himself the Lord of Lucha Libre and told Cody he’d break his arm so he can’t hold his newborn. It’s going to be an excellent feud.

Ethan Page debuted in his first Dynamite match and got the win over Lee Johnson. Page is a really nice signing for AEW, and it would be great to see Josh Alexander join him to reunite the North in the stacked AEW tag division.

The faction warfare between Matt Hardy and Adam Page is seemingly going to continue. Page was joined on a new riding mower by the Dark Order, and Hardy signed a new talent to join with Private Party: Butcher & The Blade. With Eddie Kingston onto different things, it seems they needed a new talent to align with and Hardy fits the bill.

Grade: B+
Coming out of an excellent pay-per-view, AEW did a good job setting up the show in new directions. A ton of new feuds emerged, like Cody-Pentagon, Inner Circle-Five Horsemen, and heel Scorpio Sky. The show even explained away the bad ending of Revolution as well. Still, the show doesn’t get into the A range until the women get more than one feud/segment on the show.
