The Main Event: KofiMania 2?
Previously, five former WWE Champions were announced for the Elimination Chamber. For some reason, that didn’t include Kofi Kingston. On Raw, The Miz decided he didn’t want to be in the Elimination Chamber since he already has the Money in the Bank briefcase. Apparently he doesn’t want two shots? Instead he wanted John Morrison to take his spot.
Kofi Kingston brought up the very good point of himself being a former WWE Champion but not in the match. Even though the other guys got to be in the match without a fight, Kingston had to fight The Miz for a spot. Miz wanted John Morrison for the spot, he of the ECW World Championship fame but no WWE Championship. No matter, Kofi managed to win and earn a spot.
Kofi then got a spot in the main event gauntlet match. He couldn’t recapture the KofiMania magic, falling in the first match. It was Sheamus who was able to win the match after a long performance from Drew McIntyre.

The Undercard:
Lacey Evans is pregnant with Ric Flair’s baby. Yeah, Raw went back to being just bad this week. Evans announced it during her tag team match against Charlotte & Asuka. Apparently Evans is legitimately pregnant, so congratulations to her. Still, this segment was just not it.

Bad Bunny won the 24/7 Championship from Akira Tozawa with a little help from Damian Priest. WWE is doing a smart thing capitalizing on Bad Bunny’s popularity like this. He can give them a ton of new eyeballs and he seems pretty enthusiastic about being a part of the program.
Alexa Bliss returned to distract Randy Orton. Earlier in the night Bliss had appeared with a fun message while sitting on a pentagram. She said The Fiend will return and be re-born. What type of changes will be made to the Fiend’s character?
Also, WWE made a bunch of hole jokes on Raw Talk. Nia Jax got mad and stormed off. The joke is officially dead.

Grade: D
This show was bad, and it should feel bad. Some of the booking decisions made no sense, like why does Kofi need to fight for a spot. Why would The Miz sacrifice his spot? How are we to believe that Lacey’s pregnancy is actually Ric Flair’s baby? It was not a great go-home show, but Elimination Chamber should still be a pretty good show on Sunday.
