AEW Dynamite Results
There was a ton of buzz around Dynamite on Wednesday coming off of last week’s Winter is Coming show. Kenny Omega is now AEW World Champion, Shaq was promised on this show, plus Sting has returned. That’s a lot of things to draw in viewers, so don’t be surprised if they get a huge win in the ratings this week. Here are the results:
- Young Bucks def. TH2
- FTR def. Varsity Blondes
- Dustin Rhodes def. 10
- Butcher & The Blade & Eddie Kingston def. Lucha Bros & Lance Archer
- Abadon def. Tesha Price
- MJF def. Orange Cassidy to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring
First let’s talk about Sting’s return. He’s going to be sticking around AEW for a while, and it looks like Cody will be his first feud. Are you excited for Sting to get back in the ring eventually?
The only thing for sure about @sting…is nothing is for sure.

Shaq also appeared to set up a match between Brandi Rhodes and Jade Cargill. It ended with a new Shaq meme and Brandi calling him an asshole. Overall, solid in my opinion.
EXCLUSIVE sit down interview with @shaq & @TheBrandiRhodes hosted by @tonyschiavone24.

In the main event segment, Miro cost Orange Cassidy the Dynamite Diamond Ring. He looked like a beast to close the show, taking out security guards and proving to be a dominant force. This is the Miro many expected after leaving WWE, and this could be the first step in his main event run.

NXT Results: Karrion Kross Returns
What would happen on NXT coming out of War Games? The pay-per-view on Sunday was excellent, but many have ended up on the injured list. Finn Balor was primed to make his return from injury, so who would step up to be his challenger? Raquel Gonzalez pinned NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai on Sunday – does that make her the next woman up? Here are the match results from Wednesday’s NXT:
- Jake Atlas def. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
- Grizzled Young Veterans def. Ever-Rise and Imperium
- Tommaso Ciampa def. Cameron Grimes
- Pete Dunne def. Killian Dain
- Raquel Gonzalez def. Ember Moon
The show began with Balor’s return and a parade of potential challengers. It’s an impressive list: Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly, Damian Priest and a returning Karrion Kross. Any of these could be a great next feud for Balor, but my guess is Pete Dunne gets the nod.
Later in the show, Kross made his intentions known. He isn’t going after the title he never lost yet. Instead it looks like Damian Priest will be his target. This could be a very interesting feud for these two.

Goldberg Making Another Return?
Truly say it isn’t so. Wednesday on WWE The Bump, Goldberg was on to talk about his new WWE Network documentary. He was asked about having unfinished business with Roman Reigns who he was supposed to see at the last Wrestlemania. Goldberg said (h/t WrestlingInc):
“Let’s be perfectly honest, I’m the dude who delivers the Spear and I don’t think that he understands what it’s like until I deliver one to him. So Roman, it’s coming and I’m coming for you. I may be old, I may be grey, but I’m still Goldberg.”
Goldberg also ended by saying Reigns was next. All I have to say about this one is no. Leave us alone, Goldberg. The Tribal Chief doesn’t need to beat you. Just go back to your muscle cars.
One for the Road:
Something very strange is happening with Boa and Xia Li. Just… check it out.
WHAT…did we just witness?
