The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
AEW Dynamite Results
This week’s Dynamite had all the championships on the line. Would any of the gold change hands? Orange Cassidy, Lance Archer, Big Swole and Best Friends all got their shots – who would be successful? Here are the full results:
- FTR (c) def. Best Friends to retain the AEW Tag Team Championships
- Kip Sabian & Miro def. Lee Johnson & Sean Maluta
- Cody (c) vs Orange Cassidy goes to a time limit draw for the TNT Championship
- Hikaru Shida (c) def. Big Swole to retain the AEW Women’s Championship
- Jon Moxley (c) def. Lance Archer to retain the AEW World Championship
After Moxley was able to fend off Archer, his next challenger made himself known. Eddie Kingston (and the Lucha Bros) attacked Moxley after the match and made his intentions known. A battle between these two hardcore experts could be an absolutely brutal affair.

This week’s NXT had two number one contenders matches and a title match. Damian Priest had to ward off a challenge from the deranged Dexter Lumis, while Candice LeRae and Shotzi Blackheart battled for a shot at Io Shirai. What else would go down in the Capitol Wrestling Center? Here are the results:
- Undisputed Era def. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch to become #1 Contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championships

- Johnny Gargano def. Austin Theory
- Candice LeRae def. Shotzi Blackheart to become #1 Contender to the Women’s Championship

- Damian Priest (c) def. Dexter Lumis to retain the NXT North American Championship
NXT is running Halloween Havoc at the end of the month hosted by Shotzi Blackheart. Both Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano are getting rematches for singles titles. The big twist? Their stipulations will be decided by an old favorite: Spin The Wheel, Make a Deal.
.@CandiceLeRae & @JohnnyGargano 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 receive #WWENXT championship opportunities at #HalloweenHavoc, but the stakes are going to be a little different this time around.

The AEW World Title #1 Contender’s Tournament has it’s official bracket. Here are the matchups:

It’s going to be a great road to get there, but we’re going to have a lot of fun watching the inevitable Page vs Omega finals.
