The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
WWE NXT Results
It was the fallout episode of NXT after an excellent TakeOver this past weekend. The NXT Champion Finn Balor had his jaw broken in two places – would that change what happens with the top title? Also, Ember Moon made her return to NXT. What would she have to say? Here are the full results from this week’s NXT:
- KUSHIDA def. Tommaso Ciampa by disqualification
- Drake Maverick & Killian Dain def. Ever-Rise
- Austin Theory def. Leon Ruff
- Dexter Lumis def. Austin Theory
- Ridge Holland def. Danny Burch
- Shotzi Blackheart def. Xia Li
- Ember Moon & Rhea Ripley def. Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez
Ridge Holland seemed prime for big things after dismantling Adam Cole at TakeOver. Unfortunately, Holland appeared to be legitimately hurt catching Oney Lorcan on a dive on Wednesday. See the tweet with his injury here, but warning that it is a little graphic.
Drake Maverick & Killian Dain are ready to become your new favorite comedy tag team.
Ember Moon has made her intentions clear. She’s coming for the gold, so I would expect our next women’s feud is set. Rhea Ripley may be in Ember Moon’s way, but that also is an exciting prospect.
AEW Dynamite Results
This week’s Dynamite celebrated 30 Years of Jericho. Chris Jericho has been in the wrestling business for thirty years, so it’s time for a party. There also was a dog collar match for the TNT Championship between Brodie Lee and Cody Rhodes, and a FTW Championship match between Brian Cage and Will Hobbs. What happened on the Night of Jericho? Here are the full results:
- Brian Cage def. Will Hobbs
- FTR def. TH2
- Cody def. Brodie Lee (c) in a Dog Collar Match to win the TNT Championship
- Big Swole def. Serene Deeb
- Chris Jericho & Jake Hager def. Luther & Serpentico
This night truly was all about Jericho. Throughout the night there were many messages for Jericho celebrating his years in the business.

Cody Rhodes has become a two-time TNT Champion. He won a bloody and brutal Dog Collar match against Brodie Lee to win the title back. Many were pegging Rhodes for a heel turn given his newly dyed hair, but he is as babyface as ever. Next week he’ll defend once again, this time against Orange Cassidy.
You gotta give it to @CodyRhodes – he's got heart #AEWDynamite on @tntdrama pic.twitter.com/Te8W8IQHgb
