The WWE Draft kicks off once again on Friday, October 9th. When the draft is done right, it offers wrestlers an opportunity at greener pastures and a fresh start. Lots of wrestlers on the WWE roster could use this fresh start, but no more than these three. Here are three WWE wrestlers who have to switch brands during the draft:

Billie Kay
WWE recently made the shortsighted mistake of splitting up the IIconics. They don’t want to take the women’s tag team division seriously, so they’ve split up their best legitimate tag team. With Peyton Royce likely to get a push, Billie Kay is going to need something to do. The SmackDown’s women’s division could give Billie a clean break from her IIconics days.
Kay has lots of charisma that has been seen in promos alongside Royce. While she isn’t as technically proficient in the ring, she provides a level of character that many others can’t match. She could fit as both a babyface or a heel, but would thrive best as a heel. She could be a new foil for the likes of Nikki Cross or Naomi.

Angel Garza
The tag team of Angel Garza and Andrade is not long for our television screens. They’ve had their fair share of title opportunities and disagreements as a pair. If they dissolve (which will damage the men’s tag team division depth) one has to move to SmackDown. My vote is for Garza.
Angel Garza can be that marketable Latino star that Vince McMahon has longed for since Eddie Guerrero (and to a lesser extent, Alberto Del Rio). Andrade has the skills too, but WWE also doesn’t love splitting up real life couples across brands. Charlotte will anchor the Raw division when she returns, so Andrade will stay put. Garza could be placed in the Intercontinental Championship scene right away. Feuds with Sami Zayn, Jeff Hardy, or Big E could be a coming out party for Garza.

Kevin Owens
Owens has already made an appearance on Friday Night SmackDown as he interviewed Alexa Bliss last week. He seems to have entered a feud with Bray Wyatt and will be on SmackDown once again this week. Owens could have a fresh start on Fridays, a night where he has done some of his best work. He was amazing as the “Face of America” during his United States Championship run, and could work to fill the babyface void on SmackDown. I’d personally love to see face Owens run up against the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. There is not a great lineup of babyfaces to challenge Reigns once he’s done destroying his cousin and Owens could be the fit.
